It’s summer, and wildlife is living it up. Join local poets Kathleen and Jack Burgess, the park naturalist, and two Columbus poets for a walk past vernal pools, the Paint Creek overlook, a pond full of rambunctious frogs...and poetry outdoors.
There’s an “open mike” session afterward, so bring your favorite nature poem to read.
The event is 6-8pm Saturday, July 19th. Walk from the parking lot at the end of Red Bird Lane, off Polk Hollow Road, and be prepared to walk in the outdoors.
