Recent national news reported that all of the jobs lost since the great recession began in 2008, have now been restored, but at much lower wages.

Randy Davies of the Chillicothe/Ross Chamber of Commerce believes better economic times are on the horizon.

The U.S. Department of Labor statistics show the median income for Ross County stands at $41,000- but has fluctuated upward very little in the last six years since the recession started.

Davies says the local chamber has not taken a stance on the debate over an increase in the federal minimum wage to $10.10 per hour.
