A tip from a citizen has led to the discovery of a meth lab Wednesday in a Laurelville home where three small children were living.
25-year-old Chelsea Danner of Pike Street in Laurelville, permitted Hocking County Sheriff Deputies to search her residence, while and denying that methamphetamine was being manufactured in the home. However, deputies located two methamphetamine manufacturing reaction vessels inside a garage at the residence.
Hocking County Children Services responded to the scene to assist in the removal of the three small children ranging from 8 months to four years of age. The children were released to an aunt.
Danner was arrested and charged with Illegal Manufacture of Drugs, a First Degree Felony, Illegal Assembly of Chemicals for the Manufacture of Drugs, A Secnd Degree Felony and Child Endangerment, a Third Degree Felony.
31-year-old Robert Thurston III, who resides at the same residence with Danner, was also charged with the same offenses. An arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest.
