ODOT reports that in Pike County, State Route 220 at River Road remains closed because of flooding. The closure is anticipated to be in effect through the weekend. Motorists may detour via U.S. 23 and State Route 32 or seek alternate routes. Additionally, flood warnings continue for the Scioto River at Circleville until Sunday afternoon. Flooding along Island Road is worsening, and Canal Road near State Route 104 also has flooding. And, flood warnings continue for the Scioto River at Piketon until Monday afternoon. Several roads near the Scioto may also be flooded. ODOT reminds you to not drive into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely and the road beneath may not be intact.
