Work is beginning to bring the Carlisle Building back to life in downtown Chillicothe.
Chillicothe Mayor Jack Everson says the fencing around the building means work is getting underway.
In recent years, the fencing around the Carlisle usually spelled trouble with pieces of the structure falling to the ground, BUT not this time. The total renovation project is expected to take one-and-a-half to a couple of years to complete.
Adena Health System will use the building for offices and residential housing for doctors and nurses in transition to the community as well as on rotation from other hospitals.
