The Chillicothe City School District is providing insight as to how it is leading students to a path of success. Alissa Putnam is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction Director for the district.
"We do what's right for students at all times," said Putnam, "and if that means that you are a high school student, you want to get into Harvard, and you need to take these courses, we will do what's best for you."
Putnam said college and career readiness are the goal.
"Truthfully, that is probably one of our biggest areas that we focus on when we're talking about curriculum and instruction. That's where we are looking to make the best for the students when they leave us. That's our end in mind even in pre-school and kindergarten."
